These Terms of Use and Legal Disclaimer (“Agreement”) govern access to and use of this website (“the Site”). Access to or use of the Site constitutes acknowledgment and agreement to be bound by the terms set forth below.
1. Personal Capacity and No Affiliation
The Site is operated and maintained in an individual capacity. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or otherwise connected to the University of South Alabama, its governing bodies, officers, employees, agents, or affiliates (collectively, “the University”).
Any references to a professional role, position, or activities at the University are provided strictly for descriptive purposes and do not constitute or imply any representation on behalf of the University. Nothing on the Site shall be construed as an official communication, directive, or endorsement of the University.
2. No Medical Advice and No Physician–Patient Relationship
The content of the Site is provided solely for general informational and educational purposes.

If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be deemed severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
12. Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement, and any dispute, claim, or cause of action arising out of or in connection with the Site, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Mobile County, Alabama. Use of the Site constitutes irrevocable submission to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
13. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding regarding use of the Site and supersedes all prior understandings, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral.
